Overview

Ben McLellan was born and raised in Hutto, TX. After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Development, he returned to Hutto to work as a superintendent for a home builder. Amidst the financial downturn in 2009, Ben started Lomas Land Maintenance. Since 2009, Lomas has shown healthy growth in the commercial and residential landscape industry year after year. Ben's vision has taken Lomas from a company that mowed empty lots on nights and weekends, to a full service landscape enterprise. Ben now lives in Jarrell with his wife and two daughters.

Alfredo Hernandez was born in Querétaro, Mexico. After obtaining his United States citizenship, Alfredo moved to the Austin area and began working in the landscape industry. Alfredo began working with Ben in the early years of Lomas Land Maintenance after proving that they were a formidable team. Alfredo is a licensed irrigator in addition to having extensive experience in all facets of landscape maintenance and construction. Alfredo lives in Pflugerville with his wife, 3 sons and daughter.

Kyle was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX. He attended Southwestern University in Georgetown where he played baseball and earned a degree in Business. After graduating in 2009, Kyle decided to build a career in the Green Industry. Kyle has worked in multiple roles in the industry both in field operations and in management. Kyle is an ISA Certified Arborist®, licensed commercial applicator in lawn and ornamental pest control and is a licensed irrigator. He has an extensive knowledge of turf and ornamental management, arboriculture, soil science, plant health care, and integrated pest management. Kyle lives in Georgetown.
